About Us
We are a family-owned and operated handgun training business
that takes a holistic approach to family firearms safety and the protection
thereof. With over thirty years of shooting experience,
we have successfully taught men, women and responsible young people how to
safely and effectively handle firearms.
It is our belief that by taking the mystique out of the concept of a “gun”,
even children can be taught safe, respectful, responsible handling of all
firearms.
Originally, we began
this business with an eye toward training women, as there were very few female
instructors out there teaching women how to shoot and actually enjoy the sport. Women learn differently than men, and learn
least effectively from their husbands/boyfriends. Women
are the core of the home, the primary teachers of their children. Therefore, we believe it is essential that women
be a part of the complete shooting experience. Teaching women has evolved into
teaching couples, teaching parent and child, or teaching a group of female
friends/coworkers.
